Fayaz Anwar Foundation (FAF) is a private and independent welfare organization. Established in 2018 with an objective to provide Social, Educational and Economic Empowerment to the underprivileged.
FAF’s vision is to support & elevate the under privileged through various support programs and ensure well-being of less fortunate.
The mission of FAF is to alleviate poverty & food scarcity in Pakistan by providing basic necessity items through a network of programs, as well as provide opportunities for self-sufficiency. Some initiatives include provision of clean drinking water and food through community programs, quality education for all and programs for social wellbeing of the people in our communities.
Blanket Distribution
As the winter chill turned harsh, Fayaz Anwar Foundation took the initiative to spread warmth amongst the less privileged people of the society by carrying out blankets distribution drive. More than 680 blankets were distributed to Orphanage Homes, Old Age Homes and underprivileged families of Kakapir Village, Tharparker & Sakro.
RO Plant Installation
Water Filtration RO Plant was installed in Landhi area to provide clean drinking water for workers and their families living inside the mill and in nearby areas.
Installation of Water Storage Pump
Karachi is facing crippling water crisis due to climate change and rising population. To help reduce water scarcity, Fayaz Anwar Foundation installed water pump and water storage facility in the Korangi area to help the underprivileged people of the community. With storage facility of more than 200 litres it can suffice more than 25 families within the locality.
Ramadan Ration Distribution
Every year during the month of Ramadan, Fayaz Anwar Foundation arranges street Iftar and ration for the poor and deserving people who cannot afford to have a decent meal after fasting for the entire day.
Food Distribution for the Underprivileged
Free of cost meals are provided by Fayaz Anwar Foundation volunteers to more than 100 underprivileged people every day.
