Job Responsibilities:
- To lead and supervise the cutting department team, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- To allocate tasks and responsibilities among team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- To oversee and execute precision cutting operations according to specifications and quality standards.
- To maintain and operate cutting equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- To enforce safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations in the cutting department.
- To collaborate with production planning to prioritize cutting schedules and meet production targets.
- To analyze material requirements and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
- To train and mentor team members on cutting techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- To monitor and document key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cutting efficiency and quality.
- To troubleshoot and address any issues or defects in the cutting process promptly.
- To implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the cutting department.
- To communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production processes.
- To manage inventory levels of raw materials and cutting supplies.
- To conduct regular inspections of cutting tools and equipment, recommending replacements or upgrades as needed.
- To collaborate with senior management to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements in the cutting department.
