Sustainable Fibers

Alkaram Textile Mills is one of Pakistan’s largest consumer of Organic Cotton & Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cotton. We consume approximately 10000 Metric Tons of cotton annually. Alkaram has also been working on Better Management Practices Cotton Program (BMP) which entails going to the root of the entire cotton process and educate farmers. It also utilizes efficiency principles in using less water, pesticides, fertilizers & chemicals along with the usage of better seeds.
